Village of Lansing cleans up ice storm damage

Ithaca, 18 March 08 -- The Village of Lansing is doing an extra round of tree limb removal in the wake of recent ice storms. Village residents can place downed branches by the roadside by 6am each day between today and March 24th. Lansing asks that limbs be no more than 8 inches in diameter or 8 feet long, and be piled loose rather than tied or bagged. Regular spring cleanup will be offered later this spring.
