Photo by Andy Adelewitz.The Ithaca Fire Department is on the scene of a fire Monday evening at the Prize Diner, on the 100 block of West State Street, across from the State Theatre. We suggest avoiding driving through this part of downtown Ithaca for now.

In the former home of the Ithaca Diner, the Prize Diner opened a little over a year ago. It's a few doors west of Cayuga Street, just off the Ithaca Commons.
