School districts, colleges, government offices, and businesses closer to the east coast are sending people home early today and have already decided to close tomorrow, but here in Central New York, we're hearing from just a few school districts that they're canceling after-school and evening activities due to today's snow.

The following school districts have canceled all after-school and evening activities on Monday:

  • Dryden Central School District
  • Trumansburg Central School District
  • Lansing Central School District
  • Homer Central School District
  • Whitney Point Central School District
  • Watkins Glen Central School District
  • Montour Falls Central School District
  • Corning Painted Post Area School District
  • Spencer Van Etten Central School District

The joint board meeting for Watkins Glen and Montour Falls is still scheduled for tonight.

The Trumansburg After School Program will remain open until all students have been picked up. Tonight's board of education meeting will take place as scheduled.

Lansing childcare is not included in this afternoon’s cancellation, and a Board of Education meeting is still scheduled for 7pm.

Dryden’s Board of Education meeting is still on for tonight.
