January 29, 2014

Cornell University says utilities crews are working to resolve a loss of steam pressure on campus early this morning, and in the meantime, buildings on campus will be cooler than usual.

Ventilation to non-lab spaces has been shut off, and labs will be ventilated at unoccupied levels. Fume hoods will be operational, according to Cornell.

The heat outage has punctuated a morning where temperatures poked above zero just as staff and students arrived on campus. Today's forecast high is in the teens.
