If you hear a siren or a loudspeaker announcement at noon today, don't be alarmed. Ithaca College says it's conducting a routine test of its emergency notification system and outdoor warning system.

The college has sirens and public address speakers mounted around its campus for announcements in the event of an emergency, and allows students, staff, and faculty to register their e-mail address and one or more phone numbers for text or voice alerts.
