Trumansburg police called to investigate a seeming threat that may have been a school prank

March 4, 2015 by Mark H. Anbinder

The Trumansburg Central School District says they instituted a "lock-out" this morning after what they believe was a senior prank included a statement "that could be interpreted as a threat."

"At this point, we do not believe there is a threat and no students’ health, safety or welfare is or has been in jeopardy," the school district says in a statement.

The district says they instituted the lock-out "as a precaution" and has requested the assistance of the Trumansburg Police Department to investigate the situation.
