IFD says the water level in the creek was low, but nearly a foot of mud and water "made for a difficult time for rescuers." Crews were able to get the woman, who is in her 70s, to an ambulance. She was transported to Cayuga Medical Center for treatment of minor injuries. Ithaca Police Department is investigating the cause of the accident.
