County Sheriff seeking missing 70-year-old Lansing woman

Update: Carrie Reeves "has been found safe and sound," according to the Tompkins County Sheriff's Department!

Tompkins County authorities are asking for help finding a missing woman with Alzheimer's Disease who was last seen early Monday afternoon. Carrie Reeves, a 70-year-old Lansing resident, was driving a red 2005 Toyota Sienna with New York registration TPH-773.

Authorities say the woman, who's 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighs about 150 pounds, was last seen at her home at about 12:15pm, wearing black pants and a pink shirt, and may have been heading to Cortland.

New York State's missing persons clearinghouse site says the woman may have her grey short-haired cat with her, and may appear disoriented or confused.
