14850 Magazine offering mobile web schedule for GrassRoots Festival

July 16, 2014 by Mark H. Anbinder

The Finger Lakes GrassRoots Festival of Music and Dance begins tomorrow at the Trumansburg Fairgrounds, and for the first time, festival-goers can keep an eye on the schedule right on their smartphones. 14850 Magazine has worked with the GrassRoots folks to offer a free mobile web schedule that will work on any web-capable phone.

The mobile schedule, available at 14850.com/grassroots, includes a day-by-day and stage-by-stage display of which performers are playing when and where, along with bios for each performer you can see with a tap.

Before you go, don't miss Alan Rose's outstanding GrassRoots musical preview.

The mobile schedule site also includes a schedule of workshops, a full list of musician descriptions, and links to see tweets with the #grassrootsfest hashtag, the weather for Trumansburg, and the main GrassRoots web site.

14850 Magazine, published in Ithaca since 1992, has developed similar mobile web sites for the Ithaca Festival and Porchfest since 2012.

No apps to download, nothing to buy, just bookmark 14850.com/grassroots on your phone's web browser, or add it to your home screen for the weekend. See you at GrassRoots!
