This morning's event, which ran from 7-11am at the East Hill donut shop, included several CUPD officers and personnel and a state trooper from New York State Police's Troop C barracks who has also participated in the Torch Run effort.

Special Olympics volunteers were on hand with lots of information about the athletic events featuring athletes with intellectual disabilities, and taking donations. Donations of any amount were welcome, but those donating $20 got a t-shirt and a coupon for a free cup of Dunkin' Donuts coffee, and those donating $50 could pick up a pound of coffee to brew at home in addition to the t-shirt and coupon.
