Cornell University says suspects in a recent spate of paintball incidents have been caught. There had been numerous reports over the last two weeks of people firing paintgun pellets out of a dark-colored sedan at people and buildings.

Criminal charges will be filed once the investigation has concluded. The Cornell University Police Department asks that anyone who was a victim but has not yet reported the incident to do so by contacting the appropriate agency for the location where their incident occurred, whether it's CUPD, the Ithaca Police Department, or the Tompkins County Sheriff's Department. In at least one incident, witnesses said the vehicle had fuzzy dice hanging from the rear-view mirror.

Cornell declined to provide any further information at this time, as their investigation is ongoing. Ithaca Police Department would not comment on their investigation earlier this week.
