A portion of Judd Falls Road on the Cornell University campus that was to be reduced to one lane through Wednesday, October 1st, will be entirely closed to through traffic this coming Tuesday through Thursday. Crews will be completing utility work for the Stocking Hall and Campus Road substation projects.

Crews had been closing off one lane between 6am and 5pm on weekdays for the work, using flaggers to direct drivers to alternate through the area. The road will now be closed to through traffic entirely from 7am on Tuesday, September 30th, until 5pm on Thursday, October 2nd. Drivers will be able to get to the parking lot south of Morrison Hall from the Campus Road intersection, and to the Wing Hall service drive, livestock pavilion, and food science lab loading dock from the Tower Road intersection.

The detour comes just as a nearby stretch of Pleasant Grove Road is closed for two weeks for road work.
