The school district says New York State Electric & Gas is working to fix a blown transformer on Cayuga Street. At this time, NYSEG has not listed any power outages in Tompkins County.

Earlier today, we're told that students, staff, and faculty at Beverly J. Martin Elementary School in Downtown Ithaca were kept at the school even though a water main break this morning meant the school facility had no water for drinking or sanitation needs. Ithaca City School District officials tell us the water issue "was resolved" later this morning.
