Ithaca police identify body recovered from Cascadilla Creek gorge as former grad student

A body recovered from the Cascadilla Creek gorge early Wednesday morning is that of 32-year-old Alan A. Young-Bryant, say Ithaca police. Mr. Bryant was a former Cornell University graduate student who had been living in Los Angeles. Police say his death appeared to have been from an accidental fall into the gorge.

Police say no foul play is suspected at this time. An autopsy is scheduled for tomorrow at Lourdes Hospital.
