Traveling between Ithaca and NYC on ShortLine? Your gates at Port Authority are changing!

Travel between Ithaca and New York City a lot? If you get to Port Authority and find your bus's departure gate on autopilot, you might find yourself on a bus to New Jersey! Starting today, ShortLine's buses are all leaving from gates on the fourth floor.

The Port Authority of New York & New Jersey says they are rearranging departure gates for six of the 21 bus lines that serve the Port Authority Bus Terminal in New York City's Times Square. Coach USA's ShortLine service, which operates routes that serve Ithaca, is one of those.

Ithaca Firefighters rescue two stranded rock climbers at Ithaca Falls on Tuesday

Two climbers who ignored warning signs to stay on marked trails and tried to scale the rock wall next to Ithaca Falls had to be rescued on Tuesday afternoon.
